This is a review of OwnDoc / Sarah Vaughter and the dangers of shopping with them. I came across them few weeks ago and it was making me sick to my stomach. A company that threatens, harass, and publicly posts their customer’s personal information (pictures, address, phone #, etc.) just for asking for a simple refund.
Most of her product seems shady and I’m willing to bet most don’t even work. “C60” oil, which supposedly makes you live longer just because rats lived 2x longer. Come on… She makes it very convincing through her advertisements though. However, once she shipped it, there is no REFUND. Even though on her T&C she says refunds will be given, she never gives them. Customers who are stuck with a broken product, having no options for a refund, they do a chargeback. However, doing a chargeback means:
• Publicly blacklist you (Post your personal pictures, addresses, phone #’s) on their website for the entire world to see.
• In cases, for customers like “Mark Nelson”, she will write a detailed article and spread bunch of lies about that person.
• She will constantly threaten you, write articles about you (Like for Mark Nelson), call you and yell at you.
• If they find you posting things about them on places like RipOffReport or forums, they threatens you even more by saying something along the line of “Take off this review right now or we’ll be suing you for $100,000 for fraud”
Yes, I am dead serious. Don’t believe me? Look up “Sarah Vaughter” and “OwnDoc” on ripoffreport. There are 3 – 4 brave customers who ignored her lawsuit threats and proceeded to post the truth about her anyway. I believe this is exactly why more people are not posting the truth, because she threatens them for $100,000. I’ve had the chance to find and email few of her previous customers whom she threatened. It’s all the same story. Customers simply ask for a refund, and in return what they get is constant harassment. Most of them are scared to spread the truth about her (because she has their private information such as: Address, Credit Card).
I find her business strategy nothing but a big scam. Her business is operated in another country where U.S. laws does not apply. Therefore, she gets to do whatever she wants. I encourage everyone to please put a stop to these type of business practices. Please help us in spreading the word and reporting her to proper agencies such as PayPal and Consumer Affairs.
I have written a more detailed blog that that proves her unethical behavior. The website has more information and has URLS of her customer being harassed. Since I am a new poster, I do not have privilege to post a new URL. The url is owndocscam period wordpress com. If you can, please post it for me. Thank you.
Note #1: She had tons of other customers she blacklisted with pictures, however, I can’t seem to find them any longer. Maybe it’s hidden for now?
Note #2: She sued and wrote a negative article on “EssentialDaySpa” forum. A trustable community. Her reason was because a woman from Singapore wrote a negative review on her company and EssentialDaySpa refused to remove the review. So she lawyered up and got it removed. |

There is a huge thread under Skincare Tools and no one there has seemed to have had a problem ordering from her. When my shipment was delayed due to weather and customs she stuck with me as I vented. She's been pretty helpful that is and I am also taking her C60 product. Have been for awhile. I've been waiting to post about it since it's only been a few months. |

Sorry to hear of your troubles. My personal experience with OwnDoc has been quite good and found they reply back quickly and also ship fast. My first Derminator arrived faulty and they replaced it right away. |

I have never had any trouble from Sarah and I love her derminator! I've tried some of her other products and have always found them to be quality.
Sometimes a business does need to protect themselves from unscrupulous customers or go broke. Running an international company can't be easy and I think she does a great job! |

I too have ordered products from Sarah vaughter' site. I have never had any problems and really like her products. My orders have always arrived on time and have always been of good quality!
I also thinks she does a great job, and agree that running an international company cannot be easy and I suppose that one can't always please all of the customers all of the time!! But also sorry you had a bad experience, it hasn't been mine! |

I've always had good luck with her and her products. When the first needling machine came out and there were issues with it she refunded my money promptly and I didn't even have to return the determintor or whatever it was called at the time. Saved me the hassle and I just trashed it. |

Sorry you are having this problem. I have ordered products from owndoc for several years now with no problems. I also have the derminator and it works just fine. |
